Due to the potential for severe weather at our usual dismissal time, Lewistown schools will be dismissing early today, Friday, March 31st. In order to get everyone home safely before the severe weather conditions reach us, school will dismiss at 1:30pm. All afternoon activities have been canceled.
Central Elementary Parents:
Please remember to drop children off at the Elementary end in the morning. Not only does it avoid congestion with buses but it helps us promote school safety with our little ones that want to open the door for everyone that walks up while they are in the breakfast line.
Thank you
Thanks to all who came out to Central Elementary's Art Show!
Our wonderful lunch ladies served 142 people dinner and many others enjoyed the art gallery walk and the performance.
Eliza Garren was the winner of Amy Lowe's CD, "I like gum."

Thank you to Grace Sarff for helping our elementary students shop at the Brave Buck Cart today.
Students can earn Brave Bucks by showing positive behavior at school. Once a month, students can spend their Brave Bucks by purchasing items off the cart.

Congratulations to 8th grade volleyball players Carlyn Fernetti and Addison Roddis on being selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Lewistown 8th Grade Invitational held last weekend!

The LHS Student Senate, Anita Reid and Amanda Cripe deserve recognition for the work they put to help save lives!
Between money raised from shirt sales (donated to the Illinois Cancer Care Foundation) and the Red Cross blood drive our fine community certainly knows how to do their part!
