Hey, LEWISTOWN INDIAN fans!!! Our Lady Indians open up their season this coming Monday, November 13th at home vs. the Canton Lady Little Giants. With the start of a new season, the team has decided that they would like to support our local women’s crisis center, Fulton-Mason Crisis Service. We will be accepting supplies and monetary donations to support their services. Please consider a donation. A donation table for supplies will be available at each of our home games. At our final home game on January 29th, we will announce the number of items and monetary amount that has been raised. We are proud of our Lady Indians and their efforts to bring awareness and recognize and support this need in our community. Thank you in advance for helping them meet that goal!!!

If you didn't preorder Fall pictures, digital proofs are now available by creating a free HR Imaging account. You will need your child's student ID number (found on their student ID cards) to add them to your account. Picture retakes for Central Elementary are on Tuesday, November 14th.

McKown Check
Dear Parents and Students, This year, we will be having our Fall Celebration on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 by having classroom parties and dressing up. Students will need to come to school in their costumes. Face painting should be kept at a minimum and should be done before school. Teachers and staff will NOT be face painting students. When planning your costumes, please keep the following in mind, as these are the expectations and guidelines for the day: costumes should be tasteful, modest, and appropriate for a school environment and follow the basic guidelines of school dress standards. No form of weapon, blood, or gore may be part of the costume. This should be a fun day for all children, so we are asking that scary characters such as Scream, Chucky, Jason, and Clowns (It), etc. not be part of the day. Students whose costumes do not meet these standards will be asked to call home for a change of clothing. Teachers and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken costumes. Parents and special guests are invited to school for our fun-filled activities. Our costume parade will begin at 9:30am. Pre-K - 6th grade students will parade around the Elementary Playground (weather permitting) or Central Gym in inclement weather. Guests are encouraged to stay on the playground’s wood chipped area or sit on the bleachers during the short parade. Class parties will follow the parade from 10:00-11:00am. We will also have an 11:30 dismissal on October 31. Thank you for all that you do! Mr. McLaughlin
