As you are aware, there is an extreme heat advisory through Thursday. Our buses are not air conditioned. We encourage any students riding buses this week to bring water bottles. Lewistown CUSD 97 will be taking all of our usual heat precautions.

Lewistown CUSD 97 Summer School will not be in session on Monday, June 19th in observance of the federal holiday, Juneteenth. Classes will resume as schedule on Tuesday, June 20th.

Attention next year's 7th/8th grade boys: Attached you will find the summer basketball schedule and contact information for Coach Batterton. Playing over the summer will only help you next season so it's important to do as much as you can. Please contact Coach Batterton for more information.

Tomorrow (May 23) is our Summer Send Off celebration! Elementary preK-3rd grade Pow Wow 9:00am located in elementary gym. Central grades 4-6th awards ceremony located in Central gym at 10am. 2:00 Dismissal for all. We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer! School starts for students again in the fall on August 16, 2023.

Thank you to Sydney Shaeffer for helping our elementary students shop for the last time at the brave buck cart. Sydney will be a senior next year at the U of I. She is also a Lewistown High School alumni who was the Salutatorian of the Class of 2020. You may also remember Sydney as a 3 sport All-State athlete in volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Congratulations to the LVC Baseball team on winning the 2A Regional Championship 4-0 over Farmington on Saturday. They now move on to the Sectional on Thursday, May 25th @ 4:30 in Knoxville.
