Central Elementary Grades 4-6 held their monthly PBIS assembly on Friday, September 27th. Star students were recognized and received a special lunch with Miss Candi.

The LVC HS Cross Country team was in action at the Prairieland Conference Meet last night. The girls placed 2nd overall with Grace Bonney (4th) and Mallory Kotewa (7th) earning all conference honors. Every runner on the LVC team ran a PR last night!
The LVC Girls Golf team wrapped up their season in the Regional last night. Macy Eeten and Myah Brenner tied for the team lead shooting 100 just missing the individual cut for Sectionals.

The Lewistown JH Girls Basketball teams took on Knoxville last night. The 7th grade fell 29-19 while the 8th grade won 48-37. Team leaders follow:

The Lewistown Volleyball Team went 2-2 on Saturday to place 3rd in the Fulton County Tournament. Congrats to Addison Roddis and Abby Wiegand for being selected to the All-Tournament Team.

The LVC Varsity Football Team fell to Illini West on Saturday 50-16. Jackson Gibboney completed a 38 yard TD strike to Bryson Ferguson. Ferguson also had 9 carries for 87 yards and a TD. Ferguson and Wesson McLaren each had a 2pt conversion. Defensively, Trippton McClure had 10 total tackles while Carter Sours tallied 8 total.

The Lewistown JH Girls Basketball game for today has been canceled due to low numbers in the St. Vincent de Paul program.
**Reminder**
Come out to the HS Volleyball game tonight to celebrate 50 years of girls athletics and Coach Barb Rogers. You can drop your box off for the bonfire behind the school before heading inside for the game. C game starts at 5pm. We will head to the bonfire immediately following the conclusion of the Varsity game.

The NED Show is coming to Central Elementary today! During the assembly, students will learn to Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. The NED show also puts on a performance of yo-yo tricks. Yo-yos will be available for students to purchase from Sept. 25-Oct. 1 in the elementary and central offices. Prices range from $10-$18.

Today's LVC JH Football game at Rushville has been postponed until Wednesday at 5:30pm.
This is a reminder that Lewistown Schools will dismiss early on Friday, September 27th for Homecoming Parade which starts at 12:30pm. All high school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 11:15am, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will be dismissed at 11:20am, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 11:30am.
The LVC Golf Match for today has been canceled due to weather. The ICAC Meet tomorrow will start at 10am.
Picture day is next week. Your child will come home with an order form this week.
