The volleyball C game for Tuesday, 9-3 has been canceled.
Junior High Cross Country had another successful night at Illini Central.
-The girls team placed 1st ! Anna Larson led the Indians with a 5th place finish, followed by Layne Stout, Elzie Miller, Molly Beyers, and Lynlee Miller in scoring positions.
-Boys team finished in 4th place. Mason Robinson led the Indians with an 8th place finish, while Luke Larson, Connor Kotewa, Easton Donnelly, and Joseph Minor rounded out the scoring runners.
-Also of note, Jaddison Robbins and David Marshall both achieved Personal Record times!

Lewistown Volleyball fell in a hard fought match in 3 sets to PORTA-AC last night 21-25, 25-9, 22-25. Stat leaders for the night include-

Due to the forecasted heat index, Monday's LVC HS Cross Country meet in Farmington is postponed until Wednesday, August 28th.
JH XC started their seasons off successfully last night. The girls' team earned 1st place in the quad meet with Layne Stout, Molly Beyers, Anna Larson, Elsie Miller, and Lynlee Miller placing in the Top 10. The boys' team earned 2nd with Mason Robinson, Luke Larson, and Easton Donnelly placing in the Top 10.

PreK-12th grade school portraits will be taken on Thursday, October 3 at both the Central/Elementary and Jr/Sr High School. Order forms will be distributed closer to that date; however you can go to shop.hrimaging for more information or to pre-order. High school fall sports team/individual photos (football, volleyball and cross country) will also be taken that afternoon. Cuba is scheduling the remaining LVC fall sports.

Congratulations to our LVC Girls Golf team on their win over West Hancock to open the season. They posted a team score of 227 with Emma Probyn leading the way with a 52. Myah Brenner and Isabelle Bonney were 2nd and 3rd.
The LVC Dance Team has a couple of events coming up! Check out the flyer for their Military Night to find out how you can honor the service men and women in your life. You can also join the dance team for a Bingo Fundraiser.

Elementary PBIS Fundraiser - Our "Guess How Many?" Candy Contest was a BIG HIT at Meet the Teacher night so we are extending it through Thursday August 15th! Each guess is $1.00 with 4 different candy prize options! Students can bring their money tomorrow and Thursday to guess, with the winners announced Friday morning at our Morning Assembly! The closest guess without going over the actual number wins the candy prize! Thank you in advance and good luck to all!
