We would like to take this opportunity to thank MidAmerica National Bank for their generous contribution to our high school welding program. Big shout-out to Doug Tindall from MidAmerica National Bank, who is back at it with another Stock Market Project for students in Mrs. Williams’ Adult Living class! Students each have $10,000 to invest and will be following their investments throughout the project, learning about the stock market, investing, and how money can work for them. And, of course, there are some gift cards on the line for the students who finish on top! 💰

Our High School and Jr. High students held their first book club meeting, and we had a great turnout! It was wonderful to see students come together to read, share their thoughts, and engage in a meaningful discussion. A big thank you to our librarian, Rhonda Bishop, for facilitating a great conversation and helping create a space where students can connect through books and ideas!

Dear Parents/Guardians, We are writing to inform you that we have students that have been showing symptoms of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) at the high school. To help prevent the spread of infection within our school community, your child will need to remain at home and be excluded from school until they are feeling well enough to participate in normal school activities and are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease is a common viral illness that can spread easily through close contact, respiratory droplets, and contact with contaminated surfaces or bodily fluids. Symptoms may include fever, sore throat, mouth sores, and a rash or blisters on the hands, feet, or other areas of the body. Please monitor your child for worsening symptoms and contact your healthcare provider if you have concerns about their illness. Good hand hygiene, covering coughs and sneezes, and avoiding sharing cups, utensils, and personal items can help reduce the spread of infection. Please notify the school if your child has been diagnosed with HFMD and let us know when they will be returning. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy and safe environment for all students and staff. Sincerely, Nurse Angie
