The JH BBB teams had a lot of action last week. The 7th grade went 1-3 last week with a win over PORTA and losses to Havana, Macomb, and Farmington. The 8th grade went 3-1 with wins over Havana, PORTA, and Farmington and a loss to Macomb. Both teams are winding down their regular seasons with their eyes on the postseason. They play at home tonight against Illini Central at 5:30pm.
This is a reminder that Lewistown Schools will dismiss early on Friday, January 24th for school improvement planning and staff training. All high school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 11:15am, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will be dismissed at 11:20am, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 11:30am.

The Lewistown HS BBB team was a winner in Havana last night. The boys brought the Tomahawk back to Fulton County! The win was also Coach Hatfill's 100th career win! Lewistown HS BBB takes a tough loss 45-48 in their final game in the Mendon Unity Holiday Tourney. Kolby Cleer posted a 28 point 11 rebound performance and received All-Tournament Team recognition.
The HS BBB Team will be playing Barry Western at 5:00pm at Mendon Unity for 5th place in the the MVIT. Through the first two games here are the scoring leaders for the Indians.
