All three levels of our football teams were in action within the last week. The Varsity and JV took a tough losses against quality Illini West teams while the JH team beat South Fulton 20-12.
Anders Harrison returned a kickoff back for a TD, had 38 yards receiving, and was the leading tackler for the Varsity.
Jace Butler scored a TD for the JV.
Bo Ellis scored two TDs while Zak Belless scored another.

The 8th Annual Lewistown Truck & Tractor Pull was held on August 17th at the Fulton County Fairgrounds. It was a hot day but a good day filled with trucks, tractors and fun!
The FFA group helped work the food stand serving pork chops, walking tacos and other goodies while also selling shirts!
This was the 8th event held as a fundraiser for the FFA groups in Lewistown & Cuba and in total, the LTTP has raised over $66,000!!
They will present the funds raised at an upcoming board meeting at both Lewistown CUSD #97 and Cuba CUSD #3.

What’s on the menu this week? Book tastings! Yesterday, Mrs. Kruzan’s 7th & 8th grade literature classes got to “sample” some of what the school library has to offer. Mrs. Bishop picked out a great range of books and decorated the entire library like a restaurant (with snacks!) for the event!
