Postseason awards are rolling in for the high school basketball teams. Congratulations to our Prairieland North All-Conference players- Landry Smith (1st Team Unanimous), Lexi Kruzan, Abby Wiegand, Joley McLaughlin, and Aidan Reed all selected to the 2nd Team. Lexi, Aidan, and Makenna Johnson were also selected to play in the Kiwanis All- Star game next month.

There will be a fan bus for the Girls Basketball Sectional game tomorrow night. Students in grades 9-12 can ride the bus. The entry fee to the game is $8. The bus will leave at 5:45pm from the high school. Students must sign up in the high school office by 2:00pm tomorrow.

The Girls Basketball team claimed the Regional Championship on Friday night with a 50-34 win over Havana. The team moves on to the Bushnell-Prairie City Sectional on Tuesday against Atown at 7:30pm. Reminder: Students will be in session for a half day today, February 16th. All High School students and walking/pickup students at Central Elementary will be dismissed at 11:15am. Bus students from Central Elementary will be dismissed at 11:30am. Also, we will be observing President's Day on Monday so we will not be in attendance.

Members of the girls' basketball team recently dropped off their donation to the Fulton-Mason Crisis Center. The team collected goods and money at all of their home games this year as a community service project. They chose FMCC because of the work they do for women in crisis.
