Lewistown High School won 1st place out of 13 schools at the Prairieland Conference Art Show hosted by Elmwood High School on Friday, April 17.

On Saturday, April 25, 10 Lewistown Central Elementary 4th & 5th Graders attended the District 4 Elementary General Music Festival at WIU, where 70 students participated from 12 different schools. They played Orff instruments, did world drumming, folk dancing, and played ukuleles. They performed a short concert for families and friends on all the neat things they did and learned throughout the morning. They had a lot of fun making music!

On Monday, April 20, the boys and girls track team competed at the Muggs McGinnis Relays at Bushnell Prairie City High School. As a combined team they placed 2nd over all. Congratulations to all the athletes!

Welcome Sr. Carter Sours to the 1,000lb Club and So. Ella Spratt to the 600lb Club. Carter reached his mark with a 240lb bench, 385lb squat, and 375lb deadlift. Ella put up 105lb bench, 235lb squat, and 265lb dead lift.

The annual Lewistown Central Elementary Talent Show Fundraiser was held on Saturday, March 21. There was a K-3rd grade show and a 4th-6th grade show. All the students did a wonderful job and we raised over $1,300 for our elementary music program! Thank you so much for your support!!
