The Senior Class won the Powderpuff Football game yesterday. They did so with wins over the Sophomores and the Juniors. The girls named Bekah Foxall their team MVP for her 3 touchdown performance. Team members included- Front Row-Aaliyah Lerch, Bekah Foxall, Diellza Mehmedi. Back Row- Joley McLaughlin, Ahnna Richardson, Mylie Sours, Alexis Parker, Coach Carter Sours, Coach Brett Pasley.

The HS Volleyball Team had a successful day at the Beardstown Tournament on Saturday. The girls went 3-1 to place 2nd and run their record to 19-12 on the year. Ahnna Richardson and Carsyn Braun were voted to the All-Tournament Team. Stats leaders follow-

JH Cross Country Sectionals were held yesterday. Connor Kotewa placed 15th out of 88 to advance as an individual to next week's State meet. Emberlyn Minor and Melodee Tarvin each PR'd as well. Pictured are the proud Coach/Mom, Coach Kotewa with Connor.

We want to give a BIG shout out to Miss Cameron Stone, who placed 2nd at the District 3 Agriculture Education Contest! This allows her to qualify and compete at the State contest at ISU in November!

The Lewistown Volleyball teams swept Bushnell last night. Both games went two sets. Bushnell's head coach is none other than former Indian player and assistant coach, Chloe Hickle. It is great to see former players still involved in the game. Stat leaders for the games follow-

Both the boys and girls LVC Cross Country teams won Rushville's Dick Tucker Invitational last night! Grace Bonney, Layne Stout, Molly Beyers, Alexis Parker, Anna Larson, and Haley Atchley all medaled for the girls team. Blake Mason, Liam Larson, Declan Kotewa, Ridly Utter, and Mason Robinson medaled for the boys team.

The LVC JH FB team beat Canton last night 14-8. Zakk Belless ran for a TD and threw a TD to Bo Ellis.

The Lewistown HS VB teams split with South Fulton last night. The JV lost in 2 sets while the Varsity won in 3. Stats follow-

LVC Boys Golf update! Sectional Bound!

Congratulations to new LHS Graduate - Morgan Hadsall.
Morgan completed her high school graduation requirements today! We are proud of her for working hard and seeing it through. Great Job, Morgan!

On Saturday, September 27 the Lewistown High School Marching Band competed in the Morton High School Marching Invitational Competition. They had a great day and swept all the awards in Class 1A! They won 1st place Class 1A, Best Percussion, Best Winds, and Best Auxiliary. Way to go band and color guard!

Congrats to the LVC HS XC teams for both placing 3rd overall in the always tough Prairieland Conference. Grace Bonney and Blake Mason led the way by both finishing in the Top 10 individually, earning them Prairieland All-Conference designations.
