Due to forecasted weather related road conditions this afternoon, Lewistown Schools will dismiss at 2pm today. High school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 1:45pm, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will dismiss at 1:50pm, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 2:00pm. All evening activities and practices are cancelled.

The JH BBB team split games with Rushville last night. The 7th grade took a tough loss while the 8th grade won on 8th Grade Night. Leading the way for the 8th grade was Waylon Sheets with 11pt.
Central School Valentine's Day Dance for students in 4th-6th grade will be February 12 from 5:30-7:00pm in the Central cafeteria. Our PBIS program is seeking concession stand items to sell at the dance. Proceeds will go to the PBIS program to help purchase incentives and prizes for our students. Thank you!

The JH BBB teams had a lot of action last week. The 7th grade went 1-3 last week with a win over PORTA and losses to Havana, Macomb, and Farmington. The 8th grade went 3-1 with wins over Havana, PORTA, and Farmington and a loss to Macomb. Both teams are winding down their regular seasons with their eyes on the postseason. They play at home tonight against Illini Central at 5:30pm.
