This is a reminder that Lewistown Schools will dismiss early on Friday, October 31st for school improvement planning and staff training. All high school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 11:15am, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will be dismissed at 11:20am, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 11:30am.

The LVC HS XC teams pulled off a Regional Championship sweep on Saturday! Both the boys and girls teams won their respective Regionals. These are the first ever Regional Championships won by either XC team in the history of our co-op. It is believed these are also the first ever XC Regionals won by any of the schools in the LVC co-op. Congrats to all and good luck on Saturday in the Sectional!

Lewistown Jr/Sr High students will have the opportunity to participate in a mental health screener. This screener is voluntary and will be used to help identify students who may need mental health resources. A link to access the Pediatric Symptom Checklist-17 will be sent to each student's email. Again, this is a voluntary screener therefore it will not be necessary to opt your student out. Please contact me, Serenity Wallick, with any questions or concerns.

Veterans Day Celebration
The community is invited to attend a Celebration for Veterans on November 11th at 10:00 A.M. in the Lewistown High School Gymnasium. The ceremony will include a keynote presentation, performances by the LCHS band and chorus, as well as the Lewistown Central Elementary Students.
All veterans are invited to a breakfast and social starting at 9:15 A.M. in the Lewistown High School cafeteria.
If you have a photograph of a family member that you would like to include in the Veterans Day Celebration slideshow, please email it to Joey McLaughlin at jmclaughlin@lewistown97.net by November 8th. Please include with the picture: name of the veteran, branch of service, and years served.

The LVC Varsity Football team fell to West Hancock last Friday. Gauge Kruzan ran for 126 yards in the game while Wesson McLaren rushed for a TD. The boys are back in action on Friday at Farmington.
