It is a music filled weekend in Lewistown. Enjoy the talent show on Saturday starting at 2PM and 4PM at Central gym. Then on Sunday, come and enjoy the Lewistown High School Jazz Band. The concert is in Shirley Shannon Auditorium beginning at 4PM. Come out and support the Lewistown Music programs.
The LVC Varsity Softball team hit the diamond against Peoria Heights last night. It was another successful night scoring 25 runs and picking up the ICAC/Prairieland Conference win. The JV had a great game with Canton as well. LVC Softball has also made a FB page. You can see the name of the page and a write in the picture.
Come on out to the annual Central Elementary Talent Show on Saturday, April 5 in the Central gym. The K-3rd Grade show is @ 2pm and the 4th-6th Grade show is @ 4pm. This is a fundraiser for the Central Elementary music and band program. Come out and support our students!
Help our Kindergarten classes by collecting food & toiletries for the summer! These items will be distributed to the small food pantry (at the Elementary playground) for people in our community with a need. We appreciate your help with this!

Today's LVC HS Track Meet in Lewistown has been canceled due to cold temperatures.

LVC Track team members, Carsyn Braun and Bryson Ferguson, qualified for the Illinois Top Times Indoor Meet which is the Indoor State Meet. Bryson competed in the triple jump, finishing 13th. Carysn competed in the 60M Hurdles and placed 16th in the 400 with a new personal record.
LVC Varsity (2-2) fell 7-4 to Princeville last night. Baseball is back in action Saturday while Softball plays in Lewistown vs Havana today at 4:30pm and in Beardstown at 1:00pm Saturday.
Another victorious night on the diamonds for the LVC teams. Varsity baseball beat Rushville 12-2 in 5 inn while JV baseball beat ROWVA/Williamsfield 18-3. Varsity softball knocked off Hartem 12-1 in 6 inn. Baseball write up is pictured and softball follows below.
