LVC Spring Sports are in full swing this week. Baseball and Softball games begin while JH Track starts practice. Check out the full schedule for this week.


This is a reminder that Lewistown Schools will dismiss early on Friday, March 14th for school improvement planning and staff training. All high school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 11:15am, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will be dismissed at 11:20am, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 11:30am.

The LVC HS Track team competed at the Knox College Indoor Meet on Friday. Our athletes had quite a successful day with 24 Personal Records being set. Carsyn Braun placed 1st in the Long Jump and 3rd in the 60M Hurdles. Braun, Hannah Uryasz, Rebekah Foxall, and Grace Yaste placed 3rd in the 4x200.

Kindergarten Roundup is right around the corner! Come meet the teachers and pre-register your child for their first year of school! ✏️

Come see the high school students perform their musical, The Descendants, this weekend!! They work so hard and put on a wonderful show! Performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.


Tomorrow our Pre-k through 6th grade students will be wearing pajamas and filling the principal's office with balloons!! 📚❤️


Today our central elementary students celebrated Dr. Seuss and Read Across America by filling Ms. Rogers's office with balloons for every book they read.


We invite athletes ages 8 and up to join us for the Special Olympics track & field season!

Congratulations to Lewistown's Prairieland North All-Conference basketball players. Abby Wiegand and Joley McLaughlin were selected to the 1st Team for the girls. Kolby Cleer was selected to the 2nd Team for the boys.



Lewistown CUSD 97 recently recognized our bus drivers on National School Bus Driver Day. Drivers received their years of service certificates and pins in appreciation of their dedication to safety, commitment to the district as a whole and the exemplary skill needed to be a School Bus driver.
