The girls are back in action at home Monday night. JV will play Monmouth United at 6. Varsity will play Rushville following the JV game.


The JH BBB team beat North Fulton 66-21 and South Fulton 51-21 in the 8th Grade Fulton County Tournament yesterday. Colby Gilmore scored 24 against NF, Waylon Sheets scored 14 vs NF and 12 vs SF. The boys will play for the County Championship at 7:00pm tomorrow night at Central School.

The girls are back in action tomorrow at 9am at the Atown Shootout vs Orion. The HS BBB team travels to Peoria Heights for a Prairieland North Conference game.

Due to a shortage of bus drivers this morning, Bus #1 will be picking up in St David and Bryant this morning. Bus #4 bus stops will be picked up approximately 10 minutes later than usual.

The 7th Grabe BBB team placed 4th in the Fulton County Tournament last night. Zakk Belless led the way with 14pt against Canton.

Tonight's HS BBB JV game will start at 6pm, but be two 10 min halves. This will move the Varsity start time up.

The 7th and 8th Grade BBB Teams both came out victorious over Virginia last night. The 7th grade won 20-10 with Collin Christy leading with 13pt. The 8th Grade won 47-23 with Colby Gilmore scoring 12 and Mason Robinson scoring 10.

Lewistown Elementary students were greeted this morning by the LCHS Varsity Boys Basketball Team. Catch them in action tonight at Lewistown High School as they take on West Prairie. JV game starts at 6 with Varsity to follow. Go Indians!

Parker Roddis competed in the Agriculture CDE contest last night. The contest focuses on students who want to pursue a career in Ag Education. Parker had to create a lesson plan on an ag topic, present the lesson to a group of students and judges, take a written exam, and complete a reflection video. He placed 2nd overal in Section 12 and will advance to the District Contest. Parker plans on attending ISU to major in Ag Ed. Congratulations, Parker!


The HS Boys and Girls Basketball teams were in action last night. Both taking tough, close losses. The boys fell to West Central by 6 and the girls fell to Midwest Central by 1 in OT. Stats to follow-

This is a reminder that Lewistown Schools will dismiss early on Friday, December 6th for school improvement planning and staff training. All high school students and early bus riders will dismiss at 11:15am, Central/Elementary walking and pick-up students will be dismissed at 11:20am, and the Central/Elementary buses will dismiss at 11:30am.
